George R. Kravis II Collection
George R. Kravis II is a philanthropist and collector who has assembled one of the largest collections of industrial design in the United States. On the occasion of his donation of hundreds of modern and contemporary pieces to the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, SGLA garnered extensive press coverage for the collection, including getting Kravis in Art+Auction's 2011 Design Power list.
