Marlon Blackwell Architects

Since 1992, Marlon Blackwell Architects has designed award-winning, environmentally responsive projects for its clients. The firm believes that architecture can happen anywhere, at any scale, at any budget, and for anyone. Blackwell is the recipient of the 2020 AIA Gold Medal and in 2016, the studio was recognized with Cooper Hewitt’s National Design Award in Architecture. We have worked closely with Blackwell and his team to create awareness of the firm and its work outside of the American Midwest. During the Covid-19 pandemic, SGLA generated a range of coverage, including columns, virtual speaking, and project features.
