The Wolfsonian-FIU

The Wolfsonian–FIU is a museum and research center that explores social, historical and technological changes through its extensive collection of 120,000 objects dated from 1885-1945. SGLA worked with the Wolfsonian over 12 years, over which time we developed close relationships with curators and administrators within the museum. SGLA promoted a range of exhibitions on subjects including Futurism, French design, and the Arts and Crafts Movement. We arranged many special events for The Wolfsonian, notably the first Miami ‘Power of Design’ symposium and a multifaceted yearlong program celebrating the Wolfsonian’s tenth anniversary. Throughout this period, SGLA secured a significant amount of press coverage, encouraging a growth in the interest in the collection and programs of the museum.
